My Impact is a Canadian volunteer services application available in Canada. The main objective of this redesign project is to refine the layout and add additional essential functions.
These amendments lead to the following improvements: First, the navigation bar is now easier to use and more understandable, with icons added for better user recognition. Second, a volunteer schedule can now be created within the app, and users can directly contact the organization using the form within the app. Third, a new login page design has been implemented. Additionally, users can check news and monthly events on the app. Lastly, certain page options have been reduced.
Problem Statement
The current interface of the MyImpact application contains large sections of continuous text,
and its navigation includes unnecessary page options that can be combined. This can confuse users, impacting content discovery and the overall user experience. The typography hierarchy
also needs to be organized. The application itself does not have any essential functions.
